Richard Hill (MA in African Studies; BA in Theater Arts)

Richard Hill is a multi-disciplinary artist (music, dance, theatre and media arts) who for the past ten years has been a Teaching Artist with the CT Commission on Culture. Link to commission's artist profile here.

He received a B.A. in Theater and an M.A. in African Studies, has been on the faculties of Yale U., Sacred Heart U., Bridgeport U., Quinnipiac U., CCNY and the New School for Social Research, and with his award-winning musical groups ( has toured the US, Canada and Japan.  He has produced a radio magazine on WPKN for the past eighteen years and has taught media literacy and radio production at the Educational Center of the Arts since 2005.  He has served on the Board of Directors at WPKN and is currently on the board of the independent media organization, Squeaky Wheel Productions.
